Important Rules

[Blitz]

~*Roleplaying*~

Accounts and Characters;

~ There should not be any symbols, spaces, all caps, or all lowercase in your display name. The first letter(s) must be capitalized.

~ We prefer for you to have one account per character, but you are not limited to that. If you prefer to have all your characters on one account, please make sure that it is obvious what character you are RPing with in any given thread.

~ Account display names must be named after the character on it. (If there are multiple characters on an account the names must be separated by comas. I.e Jim, John, and Jane OR only have the name of the main character on the account as you’re display name).

~ You are allowed to have only three characters total. The only way to get more is to win them in contests or ask the Admin. If the Admin thinks you are more than capable of keeping more than three characters active, then they may grant you permission. Do NOT beg.

~ If other accounts do not remain active, they will be deleted.

~ After making a character using the character form provided, you must be accepted before you can role-play.

~ Please keep your character gender ratio equal. I.e. If you have 2 males and are making another character, make a female. Please make sure to keep the ratio between Humans and Shape-Shifters as equal as you can, too.

~ Your character doesn’t know everything about the world or what other people are thinking.

~ You must post you’re character’s bio within a week of joining or you will be deleted.


IC (In Character) and posting;

~ All In Character posts must be at least 200 words. This is an intermediate to advanced Role-play.

~ Please do not post more then twice in a row on the same thread if you can help it.

~ No Power playing unless given permission by the other character’s owner. (I.e. Mark hit Joe and sent him flying.)

~ No Godmoding. You’re character will always get injuries during a fight, even if they are only minor.

~ Be fair while fighting. You can’t dodge five hits in a row and expect to land every hit yourself. It doesn’t work like that.

~ No liquid time. You’re character can only be in one place, at one time.

~ Proper grammar, capitalization, and spelling are required to role-play here. Use the spell check feature if necessary or make use of suck programs like Microsoft Word or Works Processor.

~ You must bold speech and italic thoughts, as well as use “Quotations”.

~ If you’re going to post OOC notes make sure to put some way for others to know you are using OOC so everyone can tell it apart from the post. (Brackets are also a good idea).

~ If your post contains mature posts, please mark the title thread with Mature so others are aware of what may be inside.

~*OOC and C-box*~

General and behavior;

~ Be polite and respect all members. You can be banned from the site and the c-box in a heartbeat if you are not kind to the other members and staff. This means no racism, unneeded bickering (you always take it to PM), or insulting others with the intention to hurt them.

~ No spamming or flooding the c-box or OOC boards. This means no posting more then three times in a row with senseless things. (I.e Post 1: Hello? Post 2: IS ANYONE THERE?!1 Post 3: HELLO?!? Etc.).

~ If staff tell you to do/not do something, listen to them. They’re staff for a reason and probably have a good reason why they’re telling you to do/not do it.

~ DO NOT post obscene or vulgar content on the c-box or boards. You will be banned immediately if found doing so.

Graphics:

~ All bio images must match you’re description, real or cartoon/anime.

~ Bio images must not be larger then 600 (height) x 500 (width). [Add you’re dimensions into the # spots xD]

~ Avvie and signature images must match at least one of the characters on the account (preferably the main).

~ Signatures must not be larger then 350 (height) x 500 (width). [And again]

~ Avies must not be larger then 100 (height) x 100 (width). [One more time]

~*Affiliating and Advertising*~

~ Advertising is not permitted anywhere on this site; however, our affiliate board is guest friendly. Only registered members may advertise boards.

~ Do not randomly come onto the site and stick a link to you’re board in the c-box or OOC boards. You must affiliate with Shape Shifters if you wish to have you’re board displayed here.

~ When affiliating with SS you must first put our banner up on you’re site. If we see ours, yours will be added.

~ DO NOT attempt to affiliate or advertise a site with a lot of obscene or vulgar content.

~ You’re affiliate banner must be the standard 88x31 pixels or it will not be accepted.
